Access to La Plagne

Bus
Whether in summer or winter, a free shuttle service connects the various high-altitude sites. To keep the schedule handy and track your shuttle in real-time, download the Yuge app, available on the Play Store and Apple Store.
Please note: Lift connections operate daily during the season :
- Télémétro : from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- Télébus : from 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- Belle Plagne Gondola : from 9:20 AM to 11:30 PM
In case of thunderstorms, a bus service will be provided to replace these connections.
Car
La Plagne is located near the town of Aime-La-Plagne, in the Savoie department of the Northern Alps, 2h10 from Lyon, 1h25 from Grenoble, and 1h05 from Chambéry.
From Chambéry, take the A43 and A430 motorways or from Grenoble, take the A41 and A430 motorways to Albertville, then follow the N90 national road towards Bourg-Saint-Maurice, until you reach Aime.
For the high-altitude resorts (Belle Plagne, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Centre, Aime 2000, Plagne Villages, Plagne 1800, Plagne Soleil), take the D220 from Aime, following signs to La Plagne.
For Montalbert, take the D220 and follow signs for Plagne Montalbert.
For Montchavin Les Coches, continue past Aime to Bellentre. Shortly after Bellentre, follow the signs for Montchavin-Les Coches on your right.
Tourist Office Advice: Turn off your GPS when arriving in Albertville to avoid being directed to roads that are not accessible during winter.
Train
Three train stations serve the La Plagne destination :
Moûtiers – Salins – Brides-les-Bains: ideal for reaching Champagny-en-Vanoise.
- Aime-la-Plagne : access point for the town of Aime, the village of Montalbert, as well as the high-altitude resorts such as Plagne 1800, Plagne Centre, Aime 2000, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Villages, Plagne Bellecôte, and Belle Plagne.
- Landry : convenient for reaching Montchavin – Les Coches, with a dedicated shuttle available exclusively from this station.
Transfers from the train stations :
Once you arrive at Aime-la-Plagne or Moûtiers – Salins – Brides-les-Bains stations, simply take a bus or taxi to reach your accommodation. The bus stations are located right next to the SNCF train stations.
